The restaurant, whose name translates as “Paris Sky”, is located on the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower, where many believe the best views of the French capital can be enjoyed.
The institution, whose chef is Christophe Marchet, is famous for its cuisine, with which you can get acquainted at quite affordable prices, especially if you take advantage of the complex menu, operating from 12 to 14:30.
At this time, a Gourmet Breakfast consisting of an appetizer, main course, dessert and coffee is served for 39 euros. A two-course meal (appetizer-main course or main course-dessert) and coffee costs only 30 euros.
In the evening, guests are offered Balcon for 68 euros (appetizer, main course, dessert) and Grand Ecran (136 euros). The latter option includes a sumptuous three-course dinner, champagne or wine, mineral water, coffee or tea, but also a guaranteed seat at a table by the glass panel.
Popular dishes include: salmon duo with caviar-taram sauce and wasabi; veal cheeks stewed in broth with ginger and lemon grass (garnished with mushrooms and vegetables); juicy foie gras with apple and dried fruit chutney (served with croutons); citrus sand cakes with bergamot-flavored Chantilly cream; and more.
Le Georges.
The restaurant is located on the roof of one of the most unusual buildings of the French capital – the National Museum of Modern Art, also known as the Georges Pompidou Center.
The restaurant is decorated in a modern style: the decoration of the hall is made in bright colors, and the panoramic windows are decorated with unusual metal structures.
Museum visitors or local regulars take the elevator or escalator up to the heights to grab a snack or a substantial meal in comfortable chairs while taking in views of Place Beaubourg, the picturesque Marais district, the Isle of Cité and the Eiffel Tower.
The restaurant’s menu is quite compact, but it offers interesting dishes that combine the traditions of French and Asian cuisine. Here you can try red lobster salad with herbs (29 euros), flourless chocolate cake (14 euros) and even “Weeping Tiger” (sliced steak seasoned with Thai spices) for 36 euros.
58 Tour Eiffel.
The name of this restaurant speaks for itself: it is located on the 58th floor (first level) of the Eiffel Tower at a height of 58 meters. The establishment is characterized by modern design, refined French cuisine and, of course, magnificent views.
The restaurant’s chef Alain Soulard offers a choice of dishes by card or to take advantage of comprehensive offers. A lunch served in a picnic basket is available for 42.5 euros. A hearty lunch consists of an appetizer (for example, duck pate in pastry with thyme and cabbage-apple salad), a main course (roasted chicken breast with mashed potatoes and cream sauce with madera) and a dessert (chocolate mousse with praline), accompanied by a choice of coffee, soft drink, glass of wine or beer.
In the evening, you can take advantage of offers such as PLAISIR (€99), which in addition to three courses includes wine, mineral water, coffee and a glass of champagne. The ÉMOTION offer (€119) includes not only dinner but also a guaranteed table overlooking the Trocadéro square.
Le Kong.
A trendy Parisian restaurant occupying the top two floors of the headquarters of the famous Japanese company Kenzo, which is located in the first arrondissement of Paris, next to the Pont Neuf bridge. The establishment strikes with ultra-modern decor designed by Philippe Starck. The famous designer managed to combine the incongruous: comfortable armchairs in Louis XV style coexist with a pebble carpet, a staircase with fluorescent lighting and plasma screens.
Facility’s cuisine is quite original: it harmoniously combines French and Japanese motifs. On the menu you can find sushi with foie gras, udon noodles with Burgundy truffles or marble beef with béarnaise sauce, as well as spring rolls with chocolate and Chantilly cream.
Prices in the restaurant can be characterized as average. If you take advantage of the all-inclusive offer, you can order a two-course lunch for 35 euros, while three courses will cost 45 euros.
When planning your stay in Paris, you should take into account that view restaurants are very popular with tourists and locals alike. It is advisable to book tables in advance, especially if it is a weekend or a holiday.
