While in Paris, it is simply impossible to pass by the Trocadero square, located on the Chaillot hill in the western part of the capital. The main secret of the attraction of this place is that from the observation deck of the square the Eiffel Tower can be seen in all its splendor. The “Iron Lady” is especially spectacular in the evening, when a light show starts on it. After admiring the main symbol of the French capital and capturing yourself against its background, you should do the opposite: climb up the tower and from the height see the square with the Chaillot Palace and the equestrian monument to Marshal Foch, gardens, fountains, wide avenues running off in different directions. The perspective is incredible! The Trocadero park complex is a great place for a family stroll. The swimming pool with the largest fountain in Paris De Varsovy and magnificent sculptures deserves special attention. If you are lucky enough to get here during the fountain show, you can see how the fountain cannons shoot out powerful 50-meter jets of water. A lot of impressions are also provided for fans of museum tourism: the Chailleau Palace houses expositions of the Museum of Architectural Heritage, the Museum of Monumental Art, the National Maritime Museum, the Museum of Man. The small cemetery of Passy adjoining the square is of cultural and historical interest. The names on the monuments are familiar to everyone: composer Debussy, painter Edouard Manet, great actor Fernandel… The wall of the cemetery is decorated with a bas-relief depicting battle scenes from the First World War. The Trocadéro district is considered one of the most fashionable in Paris, the public here lives respectable, the speech sounds mostly French. Local restaurants are famous for their Michelin stars and high prices. Our Russian-speaking guide will help you to rationally calculate your time to get acquainted with all the sights of Trocadero.
